Led by vintners Teara Walters and Steve Walters, Deep Roots harvests inspiration (and grapes) from California and Washington, as well as Colorado, crafting over 20 distinctive wines that range from fresh whites to bold reds and sweet finishes. The tasting room’s two-level interior with wood finishes and big windows overlooking Clear Creek Valley, plus an outdoor deck for those crisp autumn afternoons, makes this a lovely stop.

Deep Roots Winery is located at 1375 Catamount Drive, off of Pine Ridge Road in North Golden. The winery is open Tuesday - Friday, 2 - 9pm, Saturday 1 -  9pm and Sunday noon - 6pm.
