Colorado Cowboy Gathering, January 17 & 18 - Celebrate cowboy heritage, traditions and entertainment that grew out of the traditions of cattle drives in the American West. UllrGrass Music & Beer Festival, January 31 - February 2 - Named one of Colorado’s top ten outdoor festivals by Westword, UllrGrass Music & Beer Festival features a diverse lineup of bluegrass, newgrass, funk and jamband artists. Goldens in Golden, February 8, 11 am - 1 p.m., Golden will once again celebrate Golden Retrievers with “Goldens in Golden.” Trained, friendly and leashed Goldens and their humans will meet at Parfet Park and parade down Washington Avenue for photos under the Welcome to Golden arch.
The Goldens in Golden event celebrates these popular pooches with lots of fun, fanfare, fluff, photo ops and a vendor village. Golden hotels offer pet-friendly packages and local businesses participate with “dog paw-ty” and fun specials. Owners are kindly requested to please clean up after your dog. Event is weather permitting, so please check the Visit Golden website on the day of the event to confirm details.
The Colorado Environmental Film Festival, February 21 - 23, the Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) is an exciting, inspiring, and energizing event that includes world-class environmental films with representatives from local and national organizations. CEFF screens feature-length and short films by foreign, local, and young filmmakers. True to the spirit of Colorado, this event is supported and attended by people who value the natural world and share a passion for the power and beauty of film.
