• Golden’s Washington Avenue will be closed to traffic so leashed Goldens can strut their stuff on Golden’s main street. 
• Several Official Group Photos under Golden’s Welcome Arch, at Washington Avenue and 12th Street. 
• Free Pup Cups. 
• Pet Vendor Village.
• Official Goldens in Golden merch, made by Golden’s own YoColorado, available at GoldensinGolden.com and at the event. Some proceeds will benefit the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies and Foothills Animal Shelter. 
• Opening and After Parties, Events and Specials: It’s a paw-ty time for our furry friends all weekend! 2026 promotions to be announced a few weeks before the event. 
• Selfies + Fun Photo Ops, lots of stops throughout town for great photo ops with your pup.
• Goldens in Golden is weather-dependent and will be canceled if there is dangerously cold, icy or severe weather. Please take into consideration when making travel plans.
• Are Only Golden Retrievers Allowed? The event is a celebration of Golden Retrievers although nobody is “checking IDs.” Only leashed, trained, and friendly dogs are allowed.
