ENVIRONMENTAL FILMS COMING TO GOLDEN
The Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) is coming to Golden for its 14th year February 20 – 23, 2020!
Hosted at The American Mountaineering Center (AMC), CEFF annually screens features, shorts, films by foreign and local filmmakers, and films by young filmmakers and for youth. Also includes a free Community Night, a free Eco-Expo and Photography Exhibition. Click here for a full festival schedule.
Community Night – Thurs. Feb. 20, 2020. Join us to kick off the 2020 festival in style with light appetizers, drinks and a silent auction whose proceeds help Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) operate year round!
- 5:30-7:15 pm - Free Community Reception featuring local Golden businesses and organizations. Light appetizers and drinks.
- 5:30-7:00 pm - Bid on amazing local products, fun experiences and beautiful art in our silent auction.
- 7:30-9:30 pm – Screening of a few short films and our feature film They Say It Can't Be Done, directed by Jennifer Tennican, and the Film Awards Ceremony
Photography Keynote Speaker: Friday, Feb. 21, 2020: 6:30 – 7:15 pm Cheryl Opperman, a nationally acclaimed nature photographer.
Photography Exhibit – Thurs. February 20, 2020 5:30 pm - Sun. April 26, 2020 5:00 pm
Eco Expo – No Ticket Required – FREE and Open to the public. Fri. Feb. 21 & Sat. Feb.22 : 12:00 pm-7:30 pm. CEFF's Eco-Expo is where environmental action groups and environmentally-minded/purposed organizations and businesses can strut their stuff, share their ideas and wares, and give attendees new approaches to being a part of environmental change.
Colorado Environmental Film Festival 4 Kids - The special youth screening is on Friday February 21, 2020 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. We invite teachers, club leaders, home-school parents and other educational groups to bring students in grades 5-12 to attend our CEFF 4 Kids day.
