Holiday Parades in Golden, CO

Golden’s old-fashioned holiday parade started in 2005 with a few a cowboys on horseback, an antique fire truck, and members of the Colorado School of Mines band, and today, it bursts with Colorado charm and delights children of all ages with its eclectic display of floats and holiday characters, presented by the Golden Chamber of Commerce.

Join in the holiday spirit and watch floats, clowns, festive holiday characters, and Santa Claus on the firetruck parade down Washington Avenue. After the parades, head out to Gold Mine Cupcakes for a sweet bite to eat and then a free hayride with Santa and Mrs. Claus, available for one hour only!  It’s the perfect free family-friendly holiday tradition.
