What is Good To Be Golden?

Golden is a wonderful place to live and work. As the City of Golden’s new local business awareness program, Good To Be Golden wants to serve as a resource for residents and businesses to help foster a strong community and boost the local economy.

Good To Be Golden encourages residents to buy local for retail and services through social media channels, a blog on LinkedIn, and an e-newsletter. (Click here to sign up for the e-newsletter.)

Residents following Good To Be Golden will receive:

• Regular e-newsletters that keep them up-to-date about the business changes in town
• Local deals from local businesses
• Special Good To Be Golden offers
• Suggestions for ways to support your community by shopping local

Business owners following Good To Be Golden will receive:

• Opportunities to connect with Golden residents directly
• Monthly newsletters to update them on available programs to help their business succeed, as well as a chance to submit event information or local deals to be shared in a regularly scheduled resident e-newsletter
• A chance to be one of Good To Be Golden’s featured businesses and to share their story
