What is Olde Golden Christmas?
Olde Golden Christmas is a city-wide celebration of the holiday season in Golden, Colorado. Our community events are the Candlelight Nights, Holiday Story Strolls, Ice Sculpture Pop Ups and our Holiday Lights, and there are so many additional events all over town during Olde Golden Christmas. What are the dates of Olde Golden Christmas?

Does this cost anything to attend?
The City and Golden Chamber main events for Olde Golden Christmas are all free to attend. Other events happening during Olde Golden Christmas might charge a fee, but details can be found in the event description for each event on our Event Calendar.

Where can I park?
Parking is Free Downtown for the Holidays! The City of Golden has suspended the downtown paid parking through the holiday season to make it easier to enjoy downtown during the holidays and support our downtown businesses.

While parking will be free during this period, signed parking time limits on City streets, as well as signed permit parking areas, will still be enforced during this paid parking holiday. Details about parking (including maps) can be found here:

Is this event family-friendly?
It is! Children of all ages are welcome to attend the events. 

How long will the lights be up?
Golden’s Holiday Lights stay up until February 16, 2021! Come back and revisit Golden after the holiday rush and enjoy the dazzling display throughout downtown and along Clear Creek.
