Downtown Visitor Parking

We're glad you've come to visit us in Downtown Golden! If you are shopping, dining, here for an event, or just enjoying a stroll downtown, please read the signs carefully. Most of the downtown area and 10th Street corridor is paid parking and many downtown parking lots are managed privately. For more information about prices and where to park, visit the Park Golden Co website. Unless you are a Golden resident permit holder, register your vehicle license plate at a pay station or online with Park Golden Co. for free 2-hour parking. If you are coming for a special event or parking outside the downtown area, please know that the surrounding neighborhoods have specific residential area permits for parking. See Park Golden Co Map 'N Park for details.

LOCAL TIP: The public parking garages typically have plenty of open parking spots and are only one block east of Washington Avenue on Jackson Street. Additionally, The Clear Creek Parking Lot, located at 304 10th Street, is a great area to check for always free daytime parking. This lot is a short walk from Parfet Park.

Check out the free and open to all Ore Cart shuttle service to get around town and connect to the RTD W Line Jefferson County rail station. Find more information at Ore Cart Golden.
