John C. Vivian served two terms as Governor of Colorado (1943-1947) and remains the only Golden resident ever elected to the office. A devoted collector, Vivian left the Museum an extensive archive of documents and photos, from campaign posters and report cards to signed photos from politicians and presidents.
Join Golden History Museum & Park staff to learn about Vivian’s life and see artifacts from the collection that have never been displayed before.
