Brad Udall presents: Dancing with Deadpool, The 27-year-long Colorado River Crisis

October 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free

We are so excited that Brad Udall is our 3rd speaker in our fall series,
Thursday, October 22nd!

Since 2000 the Colorado River has lost 20% of its annual flow, with higher temperatures and precipitation declines to blame. Up to half of this loss has been attributed to human caused warming. Lakes Powell and Mead have lost two-thirds of their volume, are at unprecedented low levels and are nearing deadpool. How did we get here? What river flows and climate might we expect going forward? What solutions might work?

Brad Udall is a Senior Water and Climate Research Scientist / Scholar at Colorado State University’s Colorado Water Center. His expertise includes hydrology and related policy issues of the American West, with a focus on the Colorado River.

Free at Jefferson Unitarian Church, now known as Common Flame
at 7pm, Thursday, October 22nd. Co-hosted by CRES
