Everything Dinosaur (on the Rocks) Lecture #1: Paleontology 101

Kick off the Everything Dinosaur (on the Rocks) lecture series with Paleontology 101, a slightly abridged history of dinosaur paleontology. The series covers dinosaurs and local geology from the Morrison Fossil Area National Natural Landmark. Each lecture runs 1.5 hours and is led by Dinosaur Ridge’s education team and geologists. Join in person in the new AAPG Lecture Hall or online via Zoom. If you can’t make the live session, registrants get a recording to watch anytime.

The in-person location for the lectures is the Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center, NOT the Main Visitor Center. The lectures will take place in our new AAPG Lecture Hall in the remodeled exhibits and are accessible to all who wish to attend. The Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center is at Red Rocks Entrance #1, the first building on the right: 17681 W. Alameda Parkway, Golden, CO 80401

In person or online via Zoom
Tickets: $7 per lecture, or $75 for the full 13-lecture series
